Acknowledgement of Country
Merbein P-10 College pays respect to the traditional guardians and elders of the land on which we learn, work and play. We acknowledge the traditional custodians, the Latji Latji and Ngintai, as the first peoples of the Millewa Mallee. We also pay respect to our neighbours, the Barkindji people, and their ancestors.
First Nations People have gathered and lived here for thousands of years and have a strong and long connection to this land. We thank them for passing on their knowledge to future generations.
