Merbein P-10 College is offering scholarships for students entering Year 7 in 2024.
A total of 6 scholarships each to the value of $350 will be offered to students enrolling at Merbein P-10 College for Year 7. Scholarships will be awarded under the categories outlined below:
Scholarships for Academic Achievement (x2) - awarded to students with strong academic capabilities on the basis of overall academic performance.
Scholarships for Excellence in Citizenship (x2) - awarded on the basis of high-levels of participation in a range of school and community activities in which the student demonstrates that they are a positive role model to their peers.
Scholarships for Sporting Excellence (x1) - awarded to students that demonstrate a high level of sporting prowess, potential and commitment.
Scholarships for Music/Performing Arts (x1) - awarded to students able to demonstrate a talent and dedication in the areas of music or in the performing arts.
Scholarships will be paid as a Merbein P-10 voucher, which can be used to cover the cost of uniforms purchased from our Uniform Shop, camp costs and/or school fees. Applications for Scholarships are due on Friday 1st December and successful applicants will be advised at the Year 7 transition day on the 12th.
